La Unidad Latina is a fraternal service organization aimed at uniting men in brotherhood in order to
serve the Latino community. Our organization extends to the campuses of over 66 prominent
undergraduate institutions and 13 alumni/graduate entities in most major American cities.

La Unidad Latina believes in a diverse membership, a commitment to academic excellence and a proactive vision towards raising awareness about the Latino culture and history.

Rest in Peace Hermano Luis Ortiz 

August 19, 1975 - December 3, 2009

Sadly, Hermano Luis Ortiz passed away early Thursday morning on December 3, 2009. He suffered from severe kidney/liver damage. He was hospitalized for quite some time, but the family finally broke the news in light of his quickly deteriorating condition. This is a GREAT loss to our fraternal family, his friends, his community, and above all the Ortiz family. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
