The LUL Medical Guild was formed in 2011 with the goal of uniting professional medical members of La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Inc. in order to deliver more efficient care, advocate for the Latino community, and to serve as a resource for Latinos at every level of medical training and practice. On April 25th, 2012 the Medical Guild of La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Inc. embarked on its first ever Medical Mission. The Medical Guild traveled along side a support group of medical personnel and volunteers to the Dominican Republic. Over a one week period, the Medical Guild visited several poverty stricken areas where they were able to assist over 1000 patients in need of medical attention. In addition to volunteering medical services, the members also handled surgical cases and gave lectures to the medical staff. Click for Press Release

The Second Medical Mission will take place from June 21 to June 30, 2013 in the Dominican Republic.
