[ Welcome to the Nu Chapter Web Site ]

La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Inc. addresses the shortcomings of academic institutions in meeting and addressing the needs of Latino students in higher education. Founded at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, La Unidad Latina primarily seeks to take a leadership role in meeting the needs of the Latino community through cultural awareness, community service, and promotion of the Latino culture and people.

The Nu Chapter of La Unidad Latina was founded on March 5, 1994 in Cambridge, MA by six Hermanos from Harvard University. Since, Nu Chapter has welcomed Hermanos from Massachussetts Institute of Technology, Tufts University, Boston College, and Northeastern University. While the composition of Nu Chapter has changed over the years, what remains is a devotion to the two things that initially drove it's members to seek out La Unidad Latina: COMMUNITY and BROTHERHOOD.
