La Unidad Para Siempre!

In 1982, thirteen visionary men founded La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Incorporated at Cornell University. Since it’s inception the Fraternity has taken on a role in meeting the needs of the Latino community through cultural awareness, community service, and the promotion of Latino culture and its diverse peoples. As current and future Latino leaders, not only within our own respective organizations; but also within enterprise, such as politics, finance, business, education, law, and community outreach, we carry a great responsibility. We have the responsibility to uplift one another while ensuring the Latino culture is strong, vibrant, successful, and above all educated.

There have been many great Latino leaders before us. They began to pave the way for everyday facets of our current lives. It is now up to us to continue this great work.

Our destinies as Latinos will only be limited by our ability, or inability to come together as a community; and will only be as great as our imagination will allow. We must never stop working towards an incredible tomorrow, and never stop reaching for new horizons.
